Biography
Professor López has completed her PhD from the University of Sydney. She has an extensive clinical experience, an academic and researcher for the last 45 years and currently works at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Professor López is regularly invited as keynote and plenary speaker at national and international nursing conferences. She is a member of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care, Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer, and Singapore Nurses Association. She is also the Associate Editor of the European Journal of Oncology Nursing. She has published more than 120 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.
Research Interest
Her research interests are in transcultural nursing, development, translation and psychometric evaluation of research instruments, cancer symptom management, caregiving, and psychoeducational interventions.
