Cancer Therapeutics

Targeted cancer therapies are drugs or other substances that inhibit cancer growth and spread by interfering with particular molecules ("molecular targets") involved in cancer growth, development, and spread. A central focus of research on cancer metabolomics is the discovery of biomarkers. Metabolites are ideal biomarkers and diagnostics theoretically because they can easily be measured from non-invasiveurine or blood samples
